NFL SCORING

NFL teams are scoring at a record rate this season. Why?

Because they’re scoring more. What is this, a trick question?

Offenses are better, defenses are worst….who knows?

Who do I look like, Brian Billick?

25 of 32 teams are averaging more points than last year.

Naturally, the Giants and the Jets are NOT among those 25 teams.

NFL teams are averaging 25.4 points per game.

Last year they averaged 22.8 points – that’s nearly a 10% increase.

Let’s take a closer look….

The green line represents NFL scoring from 1970 to now.

The orange line represents my social life from 1970 to now.
